Marylyn Peringer tells remarkable stories in English and French throughout Canada. Her wide repertoire includes Canadian and world folklore of the stars and constellations, riddle tales, and classic epics. Marylyn also teaches adult storytelling through the Storytellers School of Toronto and George Brown College.

Adapting to the themes of the season (le Carnaval, la St-Valentin, le printemps) Bill and/or Chris share their infectious music and songs, both traditional and contemporary, as storyteller Marylyn weaves the spell of the spoken word with French-Canadian folktales and legends. This highly participatory performance is available as duo or trio presentation guaranteed to get audiences singing, clapping and moving in rhythm as they celebrate North American French culture!

Beasts large and small, wise and foolish, real and imaginary are brought to life through the art of storytelling. Marylyn introduces students to allegory from around the world.

Maltese stories come from centuries of contact with peoples from Italy, Africa and the Near East. Listen to folktales and legends of pirates, princesses, fools and tricksters, and rarely heard versions of favourites like Cinderella and Rapunzel

Marylyn weaves the ancient science of astronomy with conventional knowledge of celestial phenomena. Stories include legends of the stars and constellations world cultures, including those of early civilizations.

A large-scale mural reflects so many personal and group histories and helps us all understand shared universal beliefs and feelings. In partnership with Inner City Angels, storytellers Esther Oche and Marilyn Peringer team up with painters Charmaine Lurch & Allycia Uccello in child-centred painting projects inspired by First Nations allegory and international folktales weaves the ancient science of astronomy with conventional knowledge of celestial phenomena.
