Carol Ashton and Wendy Tinkler are Early Childhood Educators, musicians and members of The Canadian Association of Storytellers for Children. Carol's CD, A CHILDREN’S CEILIDH Celtic Songs, Rhymes and Stories was nominated for a Children’s Music Web Award 2007. Wendy has been a featured guest at the PJ’s & Pillows children’s concerts in the Toronto Beach area and together Carol and Wendy have delighted young children in schools as part of the Kitchen Party with their song compositions, traditional stories and tunes.

In this intimate presentation, students participate in telling traditional Celtic stories through song, rhyme and music featuring the concertina and penny whistle while they learn about the rich Celtic oral traditions found at the best kitchen parties from the British Isles to Canada’s east coast.
